Harley-Davidson's new LiveWire electric bike

Harley-Davidson has revealed the Livewire electric bike at EICMA 2018 event in Italy. This Bike will be first delivered in North America and Europe in 2019.

Electric bike follows the American bike manufacturer's 2014 project to provide test rides of the electric bike and get feedback on the experiences. The company stated that feedback will be used for improvement and future development of this electric bikes.

This bike is available in two different variants: orange and black dual-tone color. It comes with a circular headlamp in which there is a half-fairing in which there are thin indicators placed on the sides.

It comes with a superior quality inverted shock absorber at the front part while there is also a monoshock on the rear part. Battery and electric motor are placed in the middle of the bike, where an engine was placed earlier.

17-inch Tyres of this vehicles are made with high technology and superior quality material by Michelin sports. It is equipped with a Bluetooth enabled touchscreen system with a built-in GPS. In place of fuel filler, the bike has an electric plug to recharge the battery.

What about the features and functions of this bike? Along with Brembo Callipers, it comes with dual disc brakes at the front while it has the single disc at the back. In terms of safety, the bike has different features such as traction control system and ABS cornering.

Although the specification of batteries and motors is not known yet, Harley-Davidson stated that belt drives are designed to provide sound to rear wheels, which increases the pitch when the speed of the bike will be increased.
